Le Marais Rag Band plays the music of New Orleans and the southern Mississippi of the early 1900s. They play rags, struts, stomps, blues and hot jazz. Their repertoire includes pieces by Clarence Williams, Lil Hardin, Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory, Paul Barbarin, King Oliver, W.C. Handy, Jelly Roll Morton, and more. Their set list is ideal for listening or dancing!
This Paris New Orleans brass band is made up of four professional musicians: a clarinettist, a trumpeter, a bandoneon player and a tuba player.
Le Marais Rag Band is an orchestra suited to all kinds of events: festivals, heritage days, pedestrian days, flea markets and garage sales, community fairs, carnivals, Christmas entertainment, ceremonies, weddings, sporting events, etc.
