How do I book a band?
You can make a request by filling in the quote request form available at the bottom of each performance page, at the bottom of each drop-down menu, or directly from our Contact page.

Can the artists adapt to a particular theme?
Can several artists or performances be combined during the same event?
Yes, it is entirely possible to combine several artistic performances during the same event. For example, a music band can accompany a cocktail, a DJ can take over for the dance party, and circus artists or performers can appear during the highlights.
How do I know which performance to choose for my event?

Do you offer personalized or tailor-made services?
Yes. We can adapt the composition, format or flow of a performance to suit your event. Some performances can also be customized with specific elements, especially for corporate events.
What is the cost of a performance?
The price depends mainly on the makeup of the band, the length of the performance and the technical equipment required. It can also vary depending on the date, the event location, travel costs and any travel, accommodation and meal expenses (VHR) for the artists.
How far in advance should I book?
It is advisable to book your performance as early as possible, especially for high-demand periods such as summer and the year-end holidays, to guarantee the availability of the artists and the band you want.
Can a band’s initial lineup be changed?
The composition of a band can perfectly well be adapted to your needs, subject to certain particular configurations.
Can you perform during a cocktail, a meal or a dance party?
Yes. The artists can perform at different moments of your event: guest arrival, cocktail hour, meal, ceremony, highlight, dance party or closing. The format is adapted to fit naturally into the flow of the day or the evening.
How long does a performance last?
The duration depends on the type of performance and the artist. A performance can take the form of a one-off act, several appearances or a longer artistic presence. We define with you the format best suited to your event.
In general, for a music band at an event we do three 30-minute sets and two one-hour sets over a maximum span of three hours

How do you prepare the organization of the performance with the organizer?
Ahead of each performance, JLB Prod speaks with the organizer to prepare a precise schedule and ensure the event runs smoothly. We gather all the necessary information about timings, the flow of the event, the venue and technical conditions.
What time do the artists arrive to set up their equipment?
The arrival and setup time is set in advance with the organizer, depending on the type of performance, the equipment needed and any constraints. In general, the artists arrive one hour to one hour thirty minutes before the start of the performance if the sound setup is light and the conditions checked beforehand are optimal.
What reception conditions should be provided for the artists?
It is important to provide, when necessary, a space to change and to safely store the artists’ personal belongings. Conditions may vary depending on the type and duration of the performance.
Should the artists’ meals and drinks be provided?
For performances requiring a prolonged presence, the artists’ meals and drinks must be provided by the organizer. The arrangements are defined in advance depending on how the event unfolds.
Do I need to provide someone to welcome the artists?
Yes, it is recommended to give us the name and contact details of the person in charge on site. They can welcome the artists on arrival and help them set up.
Do I need to provide parking for the artists?
When possible, it is preferable to provide a parking space or to facilitate access to the site for the artists and their equipment.
What are the conditions for an outdoor performance?
For an outdoor performance, you need to provide a flat performance area, shaded and protected from bad weather. Conditions may vary depending on the artist and the nature of the performance.
Do I need to provide a stage or performance area?
A stage area is not always essential, but it is strongly recommended to improve the visual impact of the performance. Depending on the event, platforms, indirect lighting, decoration or a stage backdrop can help showcase the artists.
Does JLB Prod provide the sound system and technical equipment?
Depending on the format of the event and the needs of the performance, JLB Prod can provide the sound system, the technical control and the necessary technical equipment. The needs are defined with the organizer when preparing the performance.
Why is all this information requested before the performance?
These exchanges allow JLB Prod to prepare a complete schedule and anticipate the artists’ needs. The goal is for everyone to know exactly the timings, hospitality arrangements, technical needs and flow of the performance so that it goes smoothly.
When is the performance schedule drawn up?
The schedule is prepared ahead of the event, once the main information is known. It allows us to specify notably the times, access, setup, the flow of the performance and the on-site contacts.
Who is my point of contact before and on the day of the event?
JLB Prod handles the follow-up of the performance beforehand and centralizes the information needed for it to run smoothly. A contact person at the event venue can also be appointed to welcome the artists and help with their setup.
Music & technical
Can the artists play outdoors?
Yes, many performances can be held outdoors, provided there are conditions suited to the performance. For music bands, a space protected from bad weather is notably required.
What space should be provided to host the artists?
The space required depends on the number of artists, the formation and the equipment used. Requirements are defined in advance in order to provide a space large enough and suited to the performance.
Do I need to provide a power supply?
It depends on the performance and the equipment used. Any electrical needs are specified when the event is being prepared so that the organizer can provide a suitable, safe power supply. In most cases, the organizer will be asked to provide a power outlet where the musicians will be set up so that they can easily plug in their equipment.
What sound volume is suitable for my event?
The sound level is adapted to the type of event, the venue and the time of the performance. The goal is to offer a quality musical atmosphere while respecting the constraints of the venue and the comfort of the guests.
Can the artists play during a meal?
Yes. Some formations are particularly suited to musical entertainment during a meal, with a sound level that allows guests to keep chatting. The choice of formation will depend notably on the desired atmosphere.

How do I book and confirm a JLB Prod performance?
To book a band, simply request a quote, then return the signed quote to us if it suits you. JLB Prod then takes care of drawing up the contract and invoicing.
You can make your request via our quote request form or directly at the bottom of the page of the band you wish to book.
Is the quote free and how long is it valid?
The quote is free and valid for one month from its date of issue.

Communication
Can you provide content, photos and videos or text, to promote the event?
Yes. Depending on the artists and performances, we can provide the content needed to promote your event: photos, videos, presentation texts, as well as links to the artists and their social networks.
Can we use the artists’ photos for our communications?
The conditions of use depend on the content and its rights. We can tell you which items are available to promote your event and any conditions of use.
Can you provide a presentation text for the artist or band?
Yes. We can provide a presentation text adapted to your communication, as well as the information needed to present the artist or band on your website, social networks, printed materials or program.
Can you share our event on your social networks?
When relevant and possible, we can relay certain information about the event and the performance on our communication channels. The arrangements can be defined with the organizer in advance.
Circus & shows
What circus performances do you offer?
We offer different artists and circus disciplines: juggling, balance, acrobatics, acrobatic lifts, aerial shows, trapeze, tightrope walking, visual performances, fire artists and light juggling, among others.
Can circus shows be performed indoors and outdoors?
Yes, depending on the discipline. Each performance, however, has its own technical constraints. We check with the organizer that the venue, the space and the safety conditions are suitable before the performance.
What technical constraints should be anticipated for a circus artist?
Needs vary greatly depending on the discipline: floor space, ceiling height, safety area, rigging, lighting, power supply or weather protection. These points are specified when the performance is being prepared.
What ceiling height should be provided for aerial shows?
The required height depends on the apparatus and the act presented. For each aerial show, the precise technical constraints are communicated before booking in order to check that the venue is suitable.
Can fire artists perform at any venue?
No. Fire performances require suitable safety conditions, a sufficiently clear space and the venue’s approval when necessary. Each performance is studied according to the environment and local constraints.
Do you offer roving entertainment?
Yes. Some artists can perform right in the middle of the audience, without needing a traditional stage. Roaming performances are particularly well suited to festivals, markets, street events, cocktail parties and events where the public moves between several areas.
Can several performances be scheduled during the same day?
Yes. Depending on the performance, it is possible to arrange several appearances spread throughout the day or evening, to punctuate different highlights of the event.
