The arrangements gain in scale while keeping the spontaneous, warm spirit of vintage jazz. In vintage costumes, the trio transports the audience to the atmosphere of American clubs of the swing era, with sung pieces, danceable rhythms and energetic improvisation. Around the singing double bassist, the guitarist, the saxophonist and the pianist recreate the spirit of the swing jazz orchestras: warm, danceable, infectious music blending must-have standards, blues and rare pieces from the American jazz repertoire. The quartet is ideal for livening up a wedding, a gala, a festival, a corporate party or performing in concert with generous, authentic energy.
Jazz Song draws its inspiration from the offbeat, virtuosic world of Slim Gaillard and Slam Stewart, iconic figures of 1930s and 40s swing jazz. The duo also explores the colors of New Orleans jazz and timeless French songs with C’est Si Bon, J’attendrai and Petite Fleur.
