Ella Duet, a jazz piano-vocal duo for your events

Ella Duet offers an intimate, elegant musical format, especially suited to events where music should accompany the atmosphere without taking over. The duo can perform at a wedding, corporate party, birthday, cocktail hour, meal or even a private concert.

The repertoire is built around great jazz standards and can be adapted according to the desired atmosphere. The singer can also offer a few pop songs, depending on the desired repertoire.

For events that call for a larger lineup, Ella Duet can be expanded with other musicians: double bassist, trumpeter, saxophonist, guitarist or drummer. This option lets the duo grow into a fuller jazz ensemble.

The musicians of Ella Duet

Sarah is an experienced singer in the field of jazz. She followed a conservatory course and has performed in various jazz formations. Her experience allows her to adapt to varied atmospheres and configurations.

She has notably taken part in vocal jazz and gypsy jazz formations, as well as swing balls. Among her main influences are Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, whose style and interpretation she particularly appreciates.

Julien is a pianist with a classical background who then developed his playing around jazz. His path has notably taken him to the Conservatoire de Lille and to numerous formations of varied styles: jazz, funk, pop and chanson.

His influences notably include Michel Petrucciani, Bill Evans and Enrico Pieranunzi. His experience allows him to offer musical accompaniment suited to intimate performances as well as larger events.

The equipment

Ella Duet can provide the piano, amplification and microphone needed for the performance. The musicians will simply need a power outlet nearby.

If a piano is already available at the event venue, Julien can also use the instrument on site.
