Jazz band in Paris for wedding entertainment, cocktail receptions, works councils and concerts.

We are: a singer, a saxophonist, a trumpeter, a drummer, a bassist and a pianist, all students or former students of the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood (CMDL), and we come together around a common goal: to keep traditional jazz alive through original arrangements. From Thelonious Monk to Chet Baker, our influences are varied and our repertoire carefully chosen. Our goal is to offer instrumental and vocal jazz, both accessible and meticulous. We want to bring the standards to life through our sound, our arrangements and our interpretation. To do so, we actively research colors, intentions and details to shape the entity that is our Sextet.

Yzé, the singer, was first a student of opera singer Anne-Marie Lyonaz, who encouraged her to make music a professional calling. In 2012, she joined the Académie Internationale de Comédie Musicale (AICOM), where she took classes in singing, music training and dance.

There she refined her musical tastes and developed a passion for jazz. The desire to specialize in this style led her to train in jazz singing at the Nadia and Lili Boulanger conservatory and to continue currently at the CMDL (Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood).

The band performs at festivals, restaurants and jazz clubs in France but also in Portugal, Chile and Costa Rica. She is accompanied by some of the most talented young musicians of their generation.

Formed around a collective of professional Parisian musicians, this is a jazz band for entertainment that communicates with simplicity, finesse and elegance all its passion for the Jazz style.

Carried by a melodious, warm, hushed voice, playing on its spicy intonations and “frenchy” tones, this Parisian band performs the most beautiful jazz songs from the popular Songbook. A few pop influences may also slip into a musical show presented with undisguised lightness and brightened by a radiant, constant smile.
