A guitar duo between fire and elegance
LOS GUITARISTAS is a guitar duo based in Lille, directly inspired by the world of the band Rodrigo y Gabriela. Their music rests on a subtle, explosive fusion of flamenco, rock and Latin influences, carried by two guitarists with strongly marked identities. One develops an impressive percussive style, using the guitar as a true rhythm instrument, with strikes and techniques from flamenco. The other lets a more electric playing style express itself, with incisive riffs, powerful solos and a resolutely rock ‘n’ roll energy.
This complementarity creates a unique alchemy on stage, blending precision, intensity and emotion, while instantly captivating the audience.
A sunny and festive musical journey
Their repertoire is designed as a true musical journey, rich and varied, ranging from great instrumental classics to originally reimagined covers. They perform iconic songs such as Tamacun, Tico Tico, Take Five and Oye Como Va, while also offering surprising versions of pop and rock songs such as Shape of My Heart, Stairway to Heaven or modern medleys. To this is added an elegant bossa nova world with standards such as Wave or How Insensitive, always reimagined with their rhythmic signature and a touch of rumba.
