Evolution<\/h3>

Pop rock, created in the 1960s, has evolved over time. In its early days, it was popularized by artists and bands such as Santana, Janis Joplin, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Byrds, and others. It truly became mainstream thanks to pop stars<\/strong> such as the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Michael Jackson, Madonna and others. The evolution of pop rock is also commercial. In fact, it was able to take advantage of the success of rock, whose records were already selling by the thousands in the big cities of the United States and Europe. Notably, pop-rock music survived the disappearance of the hippie movement<\/strong>, which faded away in the 1970s. It was then able to free itself from the drugs that characterized the movement.
